Bichunmoo

Director: Kim
Young-Jun
Producer:
Jung Tae-won
Set in Southern China,
Bichunmoo tells the story of Jinha played by Shin Hyun-June (now starring
in the Korean War Drama, Blue), who trains in the art of the deadly
Bichun sword style. After meeting his soul mate, Sullie played by Kim
Hee-Sun (now starring in the Korean Dramatic Romance "A Man Who
Went To Mars") they are separated by her Mongolian family. Now
Jinha must master his Bichun sword style and become a true swordsman
and win back his true love...
My knowledge of Korean
Swordplay movies is very poor. I don't have much more information to
do with the movie...but all I can say is this movie is the cream of
the crop when it comes to beautifully crafted swordplay movies. Mixed
Genres with Drama, Action & Romance Bichunmoo definitely gets the
message across...Korean films are well worth watching!
If you are interested
in purchasing this film, Im sure its easy to find. I recommend the Premier
Asia edition. 2 disc DVD with many features including; a feature
length audio commentary with Asia Film Experts Bey Logan and Mike Leeder
(which is quite amusing to listen to), ‘From Conception to Realization’
CGI Montage Clip, Candid Camera too showing you behind the scenes and
interviews with the director and its main cast.
In final thought, Bichunmoo
is a breath of fresh air to Asian Film fans and shouldn't be missed.
So don't hesitate, borrow, rent or buy Bichunmoo!
