Picture
Quality
Both discs have fantastic picture. Both are very sharp, and the nighttime scenes which really look nice! The only noticeable difference is that the Dragon Dynasty version is a little brighter, however this does not make any difference in the overall presentation.
Extras
Dragon Dynasty has the advantage big time. The Bey Logan commentary is a very nice addition. If anyone has ever heard him before they know what to expect, if not. He is incredibility entertaining, and like most experts he knows a lot about HK cinema. However unlike most experts, he is not boring to listen to, and does not sound like he is reading from cards. The Deltamac version has some cool press conference footage, and a making of. But it pales in comparison to the interviews provided on the DD version.
DVD Menus
Although they both have pretty impressive menus, the advantage must go to Deltamac. The scene selection menu, as well as the special features are a little bland on the Dragon Dynasty DVD. The Deltamac are just more interesting overall.
Jeff's Opinion:
Both of these DVD’s are very nicely presented, sound and picture quality on both are top notch. However, I have to go with the Dragon Dynasty DVD. The Deltamac version is a great DVD. However, the bonus features offered are enough to tip the scale on this one. Especially the fantastic Bey Logan commentary, and the interviews are top notch. However the one downside to the Dragon Dynasty version is the title “Killzone” which really does not suit the film.
