First announced in 2002 Kill Bill is now complete and ready to hit the big screen. Starring Uma Thurman, David Carradine and Lucy Liu. Directed by Quentin Tarantino it is said to be not only the best British film of the year but THE film of the year. Well the year is nearly at an end. The story tells the tale of ‘The Bride’ played Uma Thurman who seeks revenge after ‘Bill’ played by David Carradine slaughters everyone at her wedding. So the poor old Bride is left for dead when her last words are telling him that she has his baby. She then goes into a coma for 5 years. Bill is an expert swordsman and so is The Bride. As you can expect The Bride sets of for some bloodthirsty revenge, - 100 gallons of blood were used. She also sets off wearing a yellow tracksuit like the one Bruce Lee wore in the final minutes of the Game of Death, - Although it has been jazzed up to make it look like the 21st Centaury. Why Bill wants Uma dead is not really known at this point as the film is split into two 90 minute episodes. Why on earth they did that I have no idea except to make more money I suppose. The first part of Kill Bill is to be released on17th October. The second part will probably come months after.

3rd October marked the premiere of Kill Bill at the Empire in London. All the stars turned out plus many other celebs including Jonathan Ross in a rather fetching, - although not as good as Game of Death, Bruce Lee tracksuit!
